PrairieThunder TM
Festival
coming in Autumn, 2009

"...Boys
and Girls Gettin' Down On The Farm!"
Against
Tradition Productions (ATP) is doing it again in Central Illinois.
The Prairie Thunder tm Festival will feature music, food,
and a variety of vendor booths. The goal of this annual festival
is to
promote organic farming and keep family farms from foreclosure in central
Illinois. This year the Festival will be held in Autumn with 4,000 - 7,000
people in attendance over 6 acres with 6 more acres for parking and camping
at a family farm. Additional parking space will be available ¾ of
a mile away. 24,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space housed within five
buildings at the site will be used for production as well.
The location of the venue is perfect for such an event as it is on
State Route 45, 4 miles East of I-57 between Champaign and Chicago,
with Peoria to the west and Indianapolis to the east and Perdue
University in between. Kankakee, Springfield, Bloomington,
Danville and Charleston and all of the farm towns in between are all within an hour an a half
drive or less. With the high cost of fuel
the PrairieThundertm festival is the place for people of all
ages to go for music, food, and fun without spending a fortune. A
number of the musicians performing will also be at the Illinois
State Fair. See them "Down On The Farm" first and
help support the backbone of America.
If you are looking for a
great festival with fun people in a great location
Prairie Thunder tm is the best
music festival in town!
